On May 8th Oso Blanco’s Johnson v. U.S. appeal was upheld taking 300 months off of his sentence! He is full of gratitude for everyone’s work who helped achieve this victory.

We’re excited to announce that artwork from Oso Blanco is now available for purchase as a greeting cards and posters. They can be purchased from Denver ABC in person. Cards are 5"x7" and feature 4 different designs with a blank inside.

This collection of hundreds of poems were written by Oso Blanco between 1986 and 1996. Softcover and e-book editions are available online.

Coyote spent several years in prison with Oso Blanco. He visited the Trail of Tears memorial after his release and mailed photographs to Oso Blanco to commemorate the trip. For people who don’t know, the Trail of Tears is the journey that most Cherokee people endured as they were forcibly removed from their homelands in the southeast in 1838.
